Who runs this site
ReplacementParts.app is published by The Spool List Ltd, which runs The Spool List, a peer-to-peer fabrication marketplace where buyers post jobs and independent makers with 3D printers, CNC machines, lathes, laser cutters and other tools send quotes.
The domains replacememypart.com and fixmyapplicances.com redirect here.
How this site makes money (commercial disclosure)
- The “Post your part” buttons take you to The Spool List. Posting a job there is free and buyers pay no platform fee on top of a maker's quote.
- The Spool List earns a commission from makers on completed orders (10% on the Free plan, lower on paid plans).
- We don't sell parts, and we don't take payments from manufacturers, shops or makers to appear in these guides. The guides name brands only to give sourced examples.
- Makers on The Spool List are independent businesses and hobbyists, not our employees. The contract for a part is between you and the maker; The Spool List provides matching, messaging, payment protection and dispute tools.
How we check facts
- Every figure on this site comes from a named source with a date, linked at the foot of the page that uses it.
- Legal summaries are dated and are not legal advice. Laws change and reach you through national and state rules; check the official text and your local consumer authority.
- We don't publish reviews, testimonials, ratings or case studies on this site. Reviews of makers live on The Spool List, where they are tied to completed orders.
- Worked examples use clearly labelled, made-up numbers to show the arithmetic.
- Pages are written and maintained by The Spool List Ltd. Research and drafting use AI tools; every figure is checked against the cited source before it is published, and each page shows when it was last reviewed.
